Atelier Pouring Medium

Atelier Pouring Medium is designed for extreme fluid effects and pouring techniques. It is self-leveling, and also dries to a gloss finish. The best suited Chroma paint for this style of art is Atelier Free Flow; however, Jo Sonja Artists Colours' and Atelier Interactive Artists' Acrylics can also be used. Simply mix Atelier Pouring Medium with Atelier Interactive, Free Flow or any other artist acrylic paint and pour onto a flat surface. The medium thins the paint so it pours easily and forms smooth, even puddles with no air bubbles. It will increase the colour transparency, enhancing the paint layering effects and will then dry to a beautiful, gloss finish.

This water-based pouring medium dries to a clear, glossy and flexible finish. When the medium is mixed with pigments and acrylic colours, it will affect the transparency of the colours. It can also be applied to plastic sheets and be peeled away to create interesting acrylic sheets when dried.
