Liquitex Gloss Gel Medium is mixed with tube colours to retain their characteristic working properties while increasing the intensity and transparency of colours. It can be used as a binder for powdered pigments, additives such as sand, etc, and as a glue for heavy objects. Applied in multiple layers, Gel Medium will produce heavy glazes.
