Golden Wetting Aid is a powerful acrylic additive designed to dramatically reduce surface tension, allowing water and acrylic mixtures to absorb more evenly into porous surfaces. It improves flow, helps prevent beading, and enhances the performance of washes, staining techniques, and water‑media effects. When used correctly in highly diluted mixtures, Wetting Aid increases colour penetration and smoothness without compromising paint stability.

This additive is especially useful on hard‑to‑wet surfaces such as raw canvas, paper, wood, and absorbent grounds. Because it is highly concentrated, it must always be used in very small amounts and never applied full‑strength.
