Liquitex Satin Gel is an acrylic gel medium designed to increase the body, transparency and volume of acrylic colours while creating a smooth satin finish. It is ideal for building texture, extending paint, creating translucent layers and adding dimensional effects to acrylic artwork and mixed-media projects.

What it does

How to use it

• Build up layers to increase depth and texture
• Allow each layer to dry thoroughly before applying additional material

How not to use it

• Do not apply excessively thick layers without allowing sufficient drying time
• Do not disturb the surface while it is drying
• Do not use on unprepared or unsuitable surfaces
• Avoid excessive dilution, as this can affect the gel's body and performance
• Do not expect a high-gloss finish, as this product is designed to produce a satin sheen
• Do not use as a substitute for a dedicated protective varnish when long-term protection is required
